The diaper brand, Baby Wizard, has 7 cloth diaper styles but I only chose 5 to review.
It has double snaps and looks kind of like a bumGenius 4.0.
The Double Rows Snap diaper is a one-size pocket diaper.

Really wide pocket for easy stuffing.
Has 3 snap rise setting (small, medium, large)
Material:
Inner: Soft stay-dry micro suede

SUMMARY:
I have used these diapers thoroughly. I've used them overnight, daytime and for travel and have held up really well. No leaks. I love the prints! Really soft microsuede inner. The pockets, whether flap or patch are easy to stuff and unstuff.
The Double Rows Snap, Duo Wrap Velcro and Beauty Hook-and-Loop have almost the same size with a Babyland Velcro which my baby will be outgrowing soon.
The Duo Wrap and Beauty Hook-and-Loop would fit a smaller baby except that the Beauty Hook-and-Loop has a wider crotch size.
If you love the bumGenius 4.0, Baby Wizard Double Rows Snap is a great (affordable at $6 - $6.60 / per diaper) alternative.
Bigger babies are better off using Groovy Aplix and Supreme Velcro Closure because of the generous sizing. The Groovy Aplix and Supreme Velcro Closure have almost the same size except that the Groovy Aplix does not have laundry tabs. But otherwise, they seem to be just the same. Even the closure are made with soft Aplix and not the rough Velcro.

*These diapers were bought by me and this is my honest opinion about them. I'm not being paid for this review.
yey! ayan na! hahaha! i mostly got the snaps (yeah, plus factor is its similarities with bg) and one supreme velcro. its my first time to try velcro and based on your review, it looks promising. cant wait to get mine!
ReplyDeletei just noticed your ticker.. ash's bday is coming up soon. happy birthday ash!
Yung Supreme Velcro, made talaga for bigger babies. Perfect fit sana yung Groovy APlix kaya lang OOS nung nagorder ako.
DeleteThanks sis!
Great cloth diaper reviews! I've read all your CD posts. I agree with you, the BW double snaps are a bit on the shorter side, esp. for my 13 month old.
ReplyDeleteMy 11 month old is on the large setting na and I don't think it will last until she's 13 months.
DeleteThanks for visiting!
Where do you get these?

Deletehmn.... im actually considering using this for the baby... but am a bit worried about the leaks and all that.... ok ba talaga? :-)
ReplyDeleteam a new follower by the way. :-) hope you could follow me back. :-)
If it fits your baby well and you follow all wash and care instructions, then I don't see a reason for it to leak. Try mo, you might love it!
Deletewould really love to... but i dunno where to start.... hehehe
DeleteCovec/Velcro) SuedeCloth/StayDry: $6.80/ea (Covec/Velcro) Bamboo: $7.40/ea
Delete(B-Snap) SuedeCloth:$6.80/ea
(B-Snap) Bamboo: $7.40
(B-Snap) Cover: $5.40/ea
(3D Leaking Guard Snap) SuedeCloth: $4.50/ea
(Supreme Velcro Closure) SuedeCloth: $5.20/ea
These are my choices My baby is a bigger baby who likes to poop up his back and I wouldn't mind picking something not too wide in the crotch if possible:) but they may all be wide in the crotch..if so that's fine :)
Please help and thank you in advanced..My email my cobbfamily2007@hotmail.com
Hi Shannon! Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope my articles and reviews help you. For reference on the Baby Wizard diapers, you can visit their website here http://www.baby-wizard.com/
DeleteIn my experience with Baby Wizard, they are wide on the crotch, unfortunately. But they come in really big sizes like the Supreme Velcro. The Covec Velcro looks similar to the Supreme but I haven't had the chance to try them out. The B-Snap and 3D Leaking Guard Snap I haven't tried either. What I can suggest is the Supreme and Groovy Velcro (if you're the Velcro type).
Hope that helps!
Sis im a first time mom,my edd is on aug 22 so ngscout ako ng cd for newborn..all ur reviews really helps, pls tell me what cd should i get for my princess..tia
ReplyDeleteFirst off, Congratulations on your pregnancy!
DeleteNow, if you want to start CDing early, you'll have to get smaller sized CDs. But bear in mind, newborn and small sizes don't last long because infants grow really fast.
Have you decided what system you want (pocket, aio, ai2, covers)? If you haven't decided yet, I would advice trying them out to see which ones will fit your baby and your needs. Buy preloved as much as possible so you wouldn't have to spend so much.
I would suggest getting a few of covers size small and using prefolds or flats since newborns tend to poop a lot and need constant diaper change. You can also get one-size covers but these won't fit her until she's 8 lbs.
Happy diapering!
Hi I am interested in starting to use cloth diapers and am completly lost. LOL
DeleteI am on a coop and I don't recognize any of the names oif the diapers they are suggestiong exept the supreme.. I will forward you a list and see if you can help me
question po... for example umihi ung baby, do you need to change it ba kaagad to avoid rashes? or it works like a diaper din, yung it can hold several ihi?
ReplyDeleteIdeally, cloth diapers should be changed every 2-3 hours if you use regular microfiber inserts. You can leave them on longer if you add bamboo or hemp inserts or double up on the microfiber insert.
DeleteHello. Still confused with different CDs. I only tried one kind, next9/tushy wushy.
ReplyDeleteCan you post a quick run down on all the diapers that you have and where did you get them? At least, i know dumating mga orders mo :) sorry sis, binigyan ba kita ng homework? hehe. 2nd time to visit your blog! :)
Naku, I wish I had the time! Haha! :D
DeleteThanks for visiting!
Have a question about the bamboo inserts. Are they good? I am thinking about buying a bunch of them but I want to make sure I am getting good quality inserts.
ReplyDeleteI love their bamboo inserts but they take really long to dry. I usually use the bamboo inserts for overnights over hemp inserts. It's not as bulky as using microfiber. I would buy more Baby Wizard bamboo inserts if I didn't have a ton of KaWaii bamboo inserts :)
DeleteHi there, Just wondering how these are holding up for you?
ReplyDeleteHI!
DeleteThe styles I use most are Groovy Aplix and Supreme Velcro (which I chose because of their generous sizing) are holding up pretty well. Their Aplix/Velcro closure don't seem to wear out that fast. These are good diapers with really cute prints. :)
I have heard of these diapers delaminating with a typical CD washing routine. Have you had trouble with this? If not, is it becuase you washed them warm, not hot?
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah!
DeleteFortunately, I have not. I wash my diapers with cold water, CD safe detergent, rinse twice and line dry. I only wash with warm water when I prep or strip, but I typically wash with cold.
The delaminating issue is more of an issue with a bad batch of TPU fabric they used to make the diapers. The last batch of orders that had delaminating issues were mostly of the Gears Print. This was according to the Baby Wizard manufacturer.
The good news was, they replaced whatever diaper that had that damage. Points for good customer service!
hi! i have read your blogs, i'm on my 6 mo. and i'm already looking for CD since i want it as early as possible, but as i have read on your statement it doesn't fit newborns until they are 8lbs, i was looking on buying 1dozen of the coolababy bamboo CD since it was the cheapest i have seen for the bamboo diapers, i just wanted to know like how many CD did you get for your daughter when u started CD? and what was the most effective for you daughter for bamboo CD? thanks!
ReplyDeleteHI! We started Cding at day 5 since my daughter was born 8.4lbs. :)
DeleteI bought 12 Kawaii Baby Bamboo Pocket diapers and 6 covers. The pockets didn't fit as well because she had skinny legs but I didn't experience any leaks maybe because she didn't move that much at that age. I used lampin for the covers and they worked perfectly.
I love kawaii baby bamboo diapers

try them out :)
Hi, I see the website you ordered these from, but can't see where to order - did you email them to buy them? Did they have a minimum order, and was it expensive for shipping to the US? Thanks for the excellent review!
ReplyDeleteHi! Yes I emailed them to order. I'm not sure if they have a minimum because I hosted a coop or group buy so we could get them at the lowest possible price and we could divide the shipping. The price they gave us included their shipping to the Philippines. Sorry, can't help you with the shipping to the US :)
DeleteBaby wizard is the manufacturer for bumGenius. The large Velcro tabs flip to the back of the diaper and connect to each other for laundry, just like Happy Heinys.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Very helpful.
