Product Review: Cluebebe Cloth Diaper

I have 3 styles of the Cluebebe cloth diaper to review today. Classic pocket, Large pocket and the Cluebebe Pull ups.

Cluebebe is an Indonesian made series of cloth diapers. They're nicely made with cute little prints, they also come in solid colors.

Let's start with the Cluebebe pull ups.
It's a  one-size-fits-most (OSFM) diaper that's able to fit babies from 13-35lbs.
Dimensions of nappy: 12" in width (or 22" when stretched) x 12 1/2" in length (or 19 1/2 when stretched). Crotch 5 1/2".
Snap closure.
Has an inner flap style pocket opening located on the front instead of the back.
Has 4 snap settings (small, medium, large and extra large).

Roomy leg holes.

Material:
Inner: Soft stay-dry microfleece
Outer: Waterproof PUL
Insert: 2-layer Microfiber that's 13 1/2" long with a 27" 2-layer Eucalyptus layer which adds up to a very long insert!

Eucalyptus insert.

CONS:
-It doesn't seem to fit my baby well. She's tall and lean at 23lbs. so this may be better suited for chunkier babies.

PROS:
-Really wide pockets for easy stuffing
-Trim on the crotch area.
-Very stretchy waist bands.
-Love the Eucalyptus inserts. It absorbs a whole lot and dries so fast! I don't get what the Eucalyptus is for though.

Cluebebe Large Pocket

It's a one-size-fits-most (OSFM) diaper that's able to fit bigger babies from 18-39lbs.
Dimensions of nappy: 14" in width (or 21 1/2" when stretched) x 16" in length (or 19" when stretched). Crotch 6".
Velcro closure.
Has an garter style pocket opening.
Has double leg gussets.
Has 3 snap settings (small, medium, and large).

Material:
Inner: Soft stay-dry microfleece
Outer: Waterproof PUL
Insert: 3-layer Microfiber with 1-layer microfleece layer

CONS:
-It doesn't seem to fit my baby well either. She's tall and lean at 23lbs.
-It's wayyy too big for my baby.

PROS:
-I really like the pocket style. I have a small hand which fits and easy for me to stuff (might be hard for moms with bigger hands) the garter keeps the insert inside.
-Very sticky Velcro.
-The inserts are made more for their covers (which I don't have, sorry, no reviews for those). But they function much like my 3-layer microfiber inserts. The inserts also have a sort of pocket which I don't know what it's for. I can't fit any more inserts in the pocket anyway. I suppose it's for faster drying time.

Cluebebe Standard or Classic Pocket
It's a one-size-fits-most (OSFM) diaper that's able to fit babies from 6-30lbs.
Dimensions of nappy: 12" in width (or 17" when stretched) x 14" in length (or 18" when stretched). Crotch 6".
Velcro closure.
Has an garter style pocket opening.
Has 3 snap settings (small, medium, and large).

Material:
Inner: Soft stay-dry microfleece
Outer: Waterproof PUL
Insert: 3-layer Microfiber with 1-layer microfleece layer

CONS:
-I can't find one.

PROS:
-This fits my baby perfectly! I love, love, LOVE the fit. Although, she's already on the largest setting.
-I really like the pocket style. I have a small hand which fits and easy for me to stuff (might be hard for moms with bigger hands) the garter keeps the insert inside.
-Very sticky Velcro.

Out of the 3 styles, my fave would be the Classic Pocket. It has the BEST fit on my baby.
The diapers are about P330-350 each, depending on the style. I've never had a leak on any of the styles I've tried, but I've never tried them on my baby for overnight use. We've also stopped using the pull ups on her since it just looks weird on her.

If I missed anything or if you have any questions, please leave a comment below, thanks!

*These diapers were bought by me and this is my honest opinion about them. I'm not being paid for this review.

  2. Hi! I have a 2.5yo toddler son who is 97cm tall and is 16.5kilos. His build is just right. Do you think the pull-ups will fit him well?

    1. The pull-ups are a bit on the short side. You're better off using the large pocket diapers since they go really big! I haven't tried any other pull ups yet. I'll post another review when I do. Let me know if you have tried their pull ups and if it fit well with your son. Thanks for visiting!

  3. Hello! Based on dimensions, pull-ups is shorter by length against the classic pocket. Not sure why pull-ups does not fit well with your baby against the classic which is longer in length.

    1. My baby has a long torso which is why (I think) the Classic fit her better :) Or it could be the style of the diaper itself, either way, I still prefer the Classic Pocket :)

  4. hello. Do you prefer classic pocket for newborns? If not, in what month can a baby use this kind of diaper?

    1. Hi Jessica!
It really depends on your baby. The Classic Pocket can get really small and may possibly fit a newborn baby. So if your newborn weighs about 6lbs, I'm sure it'll fit. It will also last until baby is about 30lbs.
