Colon cleanse

I downloaded this detox recipe off the internet one time and decided to try it out. It was called the Epsom Salt Detox. Before I list the ingredients and procedure to make this concoction, let me first warn you that after this detox, I swore that I will never, ever do this again! Although, I must admit, my hair was shinier and my skin and nails looked healthier and more radiant. I also felt lighter, more active and not sluggish. But, the night of the detox, I had to take multiple trips to the bathroom, I looked green and I felt nauseous. Proceed with caution!
Here's the recipe. Don't say I didn't warn you though.

Epsom Salt Detox

Epsom Salts - 3-4 tablespoons
Distilled Water - at least 90 ounces
Freshly pressed Lemon/Lime Juice (20 tablespoons)
Olive Oil Virgin (Cold Pressed; Virgin Olive Oil) - at least 1 pint

1. Maintain an EMPTY STOMACH six to eight hours before proceeding with the cleanse. You may drink water. [After your noon meal, for example, fast until 6-8 p.m., then begin the cleanse]
HOWEVER, One hour before beginning the cleanse, place 3-4 tablespoons of Epsom salts in a 10 oz. glass of distilled water - drink ALL.

2. In an 8 oz. glass put 3 tablespoons of the olive oil. Then add the juice of two lemons (or 2 tablespoons of 100% pure lemon juice) and fill glass with distilled water. You will need 90 (should be 10) glasses of this mixture. According to what is most convenient to you, you may prepare 10 glasses of the mixture in the beginning or re-mix each glass of water, oil and lemon juice every 15 minutes.

3. Drink one glass of the mixture every 15 minutes until you have drunk 10 glasses of mixture. To offset the taste, place a small amount of pure maple syrup on the tip of your tongue when drinking mixture. Also it helps to drink through a straw.

~ Some people experience an upset stomach but this will soon pass.
~ By the following morning, if you have not eliminated, it helps to eat 1 or 2 apples.
~ When you have eliminated, pay particular attention to what you see in the toilet bowl before you flush. You will probably notice small gray-looking chunks along with other items of interest. Check for parasite infested mucous which may be dislodged from the lining of the intestinal tract. This is very important, as you will want to pass all of this loose mucous as soon as possible. You will know you have some remaining mucous in your intestinal tract if you experience cramping. To expel any additional mucous you will need to take a mild solution *of cleanse the same day.

After the cleanse regimen, as a sleep aid, you may take one or two cups of grapefruit juice before retiring.

Have a nice cleanse!

*A mild cleanse solution is two tablespoons of castor oil followed by a cup of Senna tea before retiring.
